The Good Shepards Refund Policy

At the Good Shepards, we value your trust and are committed to providing quality care with integrity. We understand that schedules change, and we do our best to accommodate our clients while respecting the time and dedication of our team. Please review our refund policy for all services below:


Dog Walking Services

  1. Full Refund: Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance.
  2. No Refund: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
  3. Weather/Emergency Cancellations: If The Good Shepards must cancel due to weather or emergencies, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Boarding Services

  1. Deposit Required: A 50% deposit is due at booking to secure your reservation.
  2. Full Refund of Deposit: Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled drop-off.
  3. No Refund of Deposit: Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance.
  4. No Refunds for no-shows or early pick-ups.

Training Services

Please note that the cash value of each session in a training package is not equal. The majority of the value is delivered in the initial sessions, which focus on assessment, goal-setting, and establishing foundational skills.

Because of this, cancellations or early terminations of multi-session training packages will not be refunded on a pro-rated per-session basis. For example, if you cancel after completing 4 out of 5 sessions, you are not automatically entitled to 1/5 of the total package cost. Any potential refund will be evaluated based on the overall value already delivered, not the number of remaining sessions.

We appreciate your understanding as we aim to provide thoughtful, results-driven training from the very start.


Workshops

Please note that all workshop payments are non-refundable. Payments for workshops are processed through The Good Shepards Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

As such:

  1. Payments are considered charitable donations in support of our mission.
  2. Donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
  3. No refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows.

We thank you for your generosity and for helping us extend the healing power of the human-animal bond to more communities in need.
